My dear friend Ali Delaney, of Stella Byrd Events, asked me a while back if I’d be interested in volunteering my services for the annual Prevention First gala. Of course, I couldn’t refuse! So, last Friday evening I had the pleasure of photographing the fabulous “mod” event at Le Club Avenue, at Pier Village in Long Branch, N.J. Here’s a peek at the event which honored Carolynn and Bob Diakon for their longstanding commitment to Prevention First and tireless effort to assist in its mission of keeping kids healthy, safe, and drug free.
Prevention First is a non-profit agency dedicated to strengthening the foundations of children and families by empowering them to successfully handle difficult, everyday life situations and extraordinary challenges such as violence and substance abuse. A groovy time was had by all the friends and supporters of Prevention First!
