PANTONE WEDDING™ Inspiration for your wedding!

All brides want to have a  perfectly color-coordinated wedding! Pantone, the leading color authority and provider of professional color standards for the design industry, along with The Dessy Group, a leading manufacturer of bridal and bridesmaids apparel, created  PANTONE WEDDING, an interactive site that provides tools for brides develop their unique color theme. Brides can also create their own inspiration boards based on their favorite colors, styles and accessories and also create a free PANTONE WEDDING™ web site using their favorite wedding colors! What more could a girl want!

The PANTONE WEDDING™ color fan guide is the perfect color tool for brides! The guide features 194 colors to choose from and is designed for portable use. Also, there are matching full page color PANTONE WEDDING Swatch Cards which can be divided into 14 chips to be distributed to all wedding vendors involved in color-related tasks-perfect for planners, florists, stationers and bridesmaids!

I’m so excited that spring officially arrives tomorrow! Don’t you just love the colors of spring?  Each season, Pantone collects feedback on eye-catching collection colors and color inspiration  from designers. The results of the surveys are used to create the PANTONE Fashion Color Report, which is used as a reference tool throughout the year by fashion and home designers. Pantone’s Fashion Color Report for Spring 2010, Splashes of Sunshine, features the top 10 colors and my favorite has to be the violet!

Turquoise: cool, vibrant, tropical

Tomato Purée: classic red, tangy red

Fusion Coral: warmer, provocative orange

Violet: romantic, intriguing purplish hue

Tuscany: warm beige hue

Aurora: gleaming yellow

Amparo Blue: bright and energetic

Pink Champagne: wispy, bubbly and neutral

Dried Herb: green neutral

Eucalyptus: eternal, practical gray

Also, Pantone’s color of the year for 2010 is  Pantone 15-5519. “Turquoise is believed to be a protective talisman, a color of deep compassion and healing, and a color of faith and truth, inspired by water and sky,” Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®, said in a statement. For more turquoise inspiration visit the House of Turquoise and their shopping site Everything Turquoise.
